Project Manager

Summary:
The Project Manager is a strategic role and the face of Acacia, pivotal in shaping our reputation for excellence and customer delight. The Project Manager must possess a knack for building relationships and cultivating customer experiences by eliminating obstacles throughout the project's lifecycle. Beyond tasks and deliverables, Acacia values individuals with strong interpersonal skills, an unwavering attention to detail, and an innate drive for customer satisfaction. A Project Manager will lead with precision and efficiency and oversee the entire lifecycle of millwork projects, from initial planning through execution and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining Acacia's standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication among all stakeholders, including Customer representatives, Engineering, Production, and Installation teams, ensuring that information flows smoothly between team members, departments, and external partners to keep everyone informed and aligned with project goals.
  • Contribute to a positive and cohesive work culture by fostering a sense of pride and ownership in the work and encouraging behaviors that reflect the company’s commitment to excellence.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines, standards, and values in every aspect of project management and execution to uphold Acacia’s brand identity and reputation, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual representation, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Create, distribute, and oversee detailed written project schedules.
  • Oversee all project submittals’ production, distribution, approval, and return.
  • Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability.
  • Issue and track all change orders.
  • Coordinate with Field Services Manager to maintain quality throughout the project’s lifecycle.
  • Produce supplemental drawings and layouts for use by Production and Engineering departments.
  • Facilitate the creation, progress tracking, and completion of project punch lists as needed.
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of experience in project management executing high end architectural woodwork and furnishings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong working knowledge of architectural millwork design, production, and installation.
  • A proven track record of budget management and maintaining profitability goals.
  • Capable of thoroughly reading, understanding, and explaining architectural drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Fluent with various word processing applications, Excel, scheduling programs (AutoCAD is a plus).
  • Experience with Innergy is valuable. It is our primary ERP platform so fluency will become a must.
